This week’s niche is for the ladies (and men) who like bling! Jewelry affiliate programs can be lucrative, and you’ll be surprised at how huge the market is for this niche no matter how many $$$ people spend for a piece of jewelry.
For example, take the jewelry affiliate websites Jewelry Notes and Beyond 4Cs. Based on SimilarWeb reports, both these sites receive more than 100k monthly views.
Although we cannot really estimate a website’s income based on the traffic report alone, this data indicates that the demand for jewelry affiliate programs is huge.
Popularity
Is This a Niche to Last Forever?
As always, we look at Google Trends to see how popular our keyword term (“jewelry” this time) is in online search:
For the past five years, the term “jewelry” has remained highly consistent in terms of search. Similarly, on social media, articles on jewelry are extremely popular. The screenshot below from BuzzSumo shows the top three most shared jewelry articles on social media sites:

Know Your Niche and Market
There isn’t much to explain about this niche, since the word “jewelry” is crystal clear to all of us. But like many other niches, the jewelry niche is huge, and it is best to have a sub-niche.
Zooming in on a sub-niche helps us focus and develop content around a certain topic only. This strategy is particularly helpful when it comes to targeting the right market. The more specific you are with your sub-niche, the easier it will be for you to target your audience.
So for the jewelry niche, I chose to focus on diamonds as my sub-niche. My reasoning was fairly simple: I based my choice on popularity.
When we talk about jewelry, one of the things that usually pops into our heads is a diamond. Diamonds are so popular that people often use them in metaphors, symbolism, and such famous lyrics as “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend” and, more recently, “Shine bright like a diamond.”
Before proceeding to any further research or action, it is very important that you know your chosen niche or sub-niche well. Spending some time defining and getting to know your niche is crucial and will make keyword research, content creation, and marketing much easier.

There is no right or wrong way to do keyword research. You can use whichever process you are comfortable with. That’s fine.
If you are new to keyword research, you can use the simplified steps below as a starting point:
